I currently teach in sunny South Florida, but I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to teach abroad in Bulgaria. Whether it’s kindergarten, first, or second grade, I’m happiest when little learners are buzzing with hands-on fun and are genuinely excited about learning.

In 2014, I started Learning Inspired to share the resources I was creating for my classroom with other teachers. I’m passionate about making math and phonics centers. These are the most needed resources in my classroom. I’m always searching for different ways for my students to practice their math and phonics skills during independent center time. When schools went virtual in 2020, like so many teachers, I was suddenly scrambling for digital tools that worked. That’s when I discovered Boom Cards—and my students were instantly hooked! Even now, they remain a classroom favorite for independent practice and centers.
